·       External leakage causes

1. The clamping size is not in place, the dimensions are not uniform (the size deviation should not be greater than 3mm) or the clamping bolt of plate heat exchanger is loose.

2. Part of the sealing gasket is separated from the sealing groove. The main sealing surface of the sealing gasket is dirty. The sealing gasket is damaged or the gasket is aged.

3. Sheet deformation, assembly dislocation caused pad.

4. There are cracks in the plate seal groove or two seal areas.

·       Leakage treatment

1. In a pressure-free state, the device shall be re-clamped according to the clamping dimensions provided by the manufacturer. The dimensions shall be uniform and consistent is the total number of plates), the parallelism between the two compressed plates should be kept within 2mm.

2. Mark the leakage area, and then disassemble the plate heat exchanger one by one, reassemble or replace the gasket and plate.

3. Disassemble the heat exchanger and repair or replace the deformed part of the plate.When no spare parts are available, the deformation parts can be temporarily removed and reassembled for use.

4. When reassembling the disassembled plate, the plate surface shall be cleaned, and the plate heat exchanger shall prevent dirt from sticking to the sealing surface of the gasket.
