Some tips for improving the heat transfer efficiency of plate heat exchangers

Views: Date:2018-08-09

The following points can help you improve the heat transfer efficiency of the plate heat exchangers.

      1. Use a plate with high thermal conductivity. The material of the plate can be selected from stainless steel, titanium alloy, copper alloy, etc.

      2. Improve the surface heat transfer coefficient of the plate. Since the corrugation of the intelligent heat exchange device can cause the fluid to generate a turbulent flow at a small flow rate, a higher surface heat transfer coefficient, surface heat transfer coefficient and geometry of the plate corrugation can be obtained. The structure and the flow state of the medium;

3. Reduce the thickness of the plate. The design thickness of the plate has nothing to do with its corrosion resistance, and it is related to the pressure bearing capacity of the heat exchanger. The plate is thickened, which can improve the pressure bearing capacity of the plate heat exchanger;

4.  Reduce the thermal resistance of the fouling layer. The key to reducing the thermal resistance of the fouling layer of the plate heat exchanger is to prevent scaling of the plate.
