Heat exchanger design manual multimedia version (hereinafter referred to as HEDH - ME) is based on the heat exchanger design manual print weave, heat exchanger design manual (hereinafter referred to as HEDH) was originally printed version, which began in 1983, the manual is divided into five parts:
(1) the theory of the heat exchanger and general application technology;
(2) fluid mechanics and heat transfer;
(3) thermal and hydraulic design of heat exchangers;
(4) mechanical design of heat exchangers;
(5) physical properties.
At first about 1, 500 pages, the latest print edition (2008) expanded to more than 6, 000 pages and five volumes.
Recently, Begell House launched a new revised multimedia version of HEDH. The HEDH content is updated quarterly to ensure that it is consistent with the latest technology in its communication with thermal designers.
The HEDH multimedia page offers a variety of search options and interactive features such as 3D models, video, animation, and simple computing. HEDH - ME audience is mainly engaged in mechanical engineering, especially in the field of heat transfer and heat exchange design work of some researchers, including undergraduate and graduate engineering students, engineering researchers and faculty, and the professional engineer, all personnel working in the field of mechanical engineering related.
