Leakage:

       Reasons

①   Clamping size, size is not uniform throughout (various size deviation should not be greater than 3 mm) or clamping bolt is loose.

②   A part of the gasket from seal groove, gasket sealing surface is dirt, Lord gasket damage or gasket aging.

③   Plates deformation, dislocation caused by assembly 

④   There are cracks in plate sealing groove or two sealing area.

Treatments

①   When there is no pressure, it is provided grip size to clamp equipment according to clamping device provided by the manufacture, the clamping size should be uniform, the clamping size should be no greater than + 0.2 N (mm) (N is total number of sheets), the parallelism between the two hold-down plates should be kept within 2 mm.

②   Tag to leak out part, and then given to solve the break-up of heat exchanger and repackaging or replacing the gaskets and plates.

③   To disintegrate the heat exchanger, the parts of plate deformation need to be repaired or replaced of plates. deformation plate need to be temporarily reassembled again after using without spare parts.

④   The board face need to be cleaned to prevent dirt adhesion on gasket sealing surface when the plates are reassembled.
